The following constitutes a listing of various groups which have worked with the Vanderburgh County Republican Party in the past, and whose leadership remains active in the VCRP. However, the listing of any particular group should not necessarily be taken as an endorsement or sponsorship of their views, work, products, or services, as the case may be.

The Vanderburgh County Federation of Republican Women (VCFRW) exists to encourage women’s participation in the governing of our nation, to elect Republicans to office at all levels, and to promote public awareness of the issues that shape America.

The VCFRW has long been an active group within Vanderburgh County politics by maintaining active membership and regular meetings, including a popular annual chili supper which raises money for the local party and local candidates. Any woman who believes in the principles of the Republican Party, interested in supporting its candidates for public office and calls herself a Republican is eligible for membership in the VCFRW.

The 2nd Amendment Patriots is a grassroots gun rights activist group that started in January of 1999. It’s an informal organization of local residents and family members who are dedicated to preserving the rights, freedoms, and civil liberties of every American by educating the American public of the founding and history of this country and its founding fathers by explaining the role, functions and purpose of the U.S. Government.

Especially active politically, over the years this group has been influential in changing state gun laws in Indiana, repealing a gun law and introducing pro gun legislation. Some of its members have also run for office both on the local and state level. The NRA/ILA awarded the 2nd Amendment Patriots with the Grassroots Organization of the Year 2000.

The group meets at 6 PM at the West Side Sportsman’s Club on the last Saturday of every month. Click here for more information about the 2nd Amendment Patriots and ways to get involved.
