Andrew Wilson Announces Candidacy for Indiana Senate District 49

New Harmony businessman Andrew Wilson has formally announced his candidacy for Indiana State Senate District 49.

Wilson, 30, is the first Republican to announce in District 49, which includes Posey, Gibson and Vanderburgh Counties. An economic and organizational leader, Wilson serves as Precinct Vice Chairman in Harmony Township.

Annual VCFRW Chili and Bean Soup Supper

The Vanderburgh County Federation of Republican Women will hold their annual Chili and Bean Soup Supper on Wednesday, October 28th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Eykamp Boy Scout Center. The supper costs $6.00 per person (children under 4 are free).

Since October 1997, VCFRW has donated over $37,000 to our Republican Candidates and to the Vanderburgh County Republican Party. In the 2008 election, the VCFRW donated $100.00 to fourteen Vanderburgh County GOP Candidates’ campaigns and paid for two billboards endorsing all Republican candidates, local, state and national.

Cheryl Musgrave to announce candidacy for State Representative

Former Vanderburgh County Commissioner and Indiana Department of Local Government Finance Commissioner Cheryl Musgrave will formally announce her plans to run for Indiana State Representative this Wednesday at 10:30 AM CDT at Goosetown Park in Evansville. Goosetown Park is located at the corner of Adams Ave. and Putnam St. in Evansville.

Dr. Bucshon to Run for Congress

Dr. Larry Bucshon will announce his decision to seek the Republican nomination for Congress in Indiana’s 8th Congressional District on Monday, October 12th in Warrick County, Indiana. The announcement will take place at the riverfront pavilion in Newburgh near Edgewater Grille at 12 noon (Central Standard Time).
